The Great Peace CD-ROM Resource Guide comes in three-ring binder format. The Guide accompanies the CD-ROM when you purchase the Institutional version of The Great Peace CD-ROM. The Great Peace CD-ROM Resource Guide assists the teacher to make effective classroom use of the CD. Written by Brenda Davis, a retired Six Nations educator with 36 years experience as a teacher, consultant and principal, the 250 page Resource Guide makes the CD as user friendly as possible for teachers by:

*Providing assistance in navigating the CD-ROM;

*Providing additional information on particular topics and a glossary of terms;

*Providing additional insight into the views and perspectives of Haudenosaunee people;

*Making connections to curriculum expectations for elementary Social Studies, History and Geography, and secondary Native Studies courses;

*Suggesting units/activities that can be adapted to a particular level of study to meet student needs and curriculum expectations.
